Privacy

Puzelo stores nothing about you — unless you hand us something yourself.

• No accounts, no tracking, no ads. The app sets no cookies and runs no analytics or advertising scripts.
• Website: your progress stays in your browser. On puzelo.com, solved puzzles, streaks and settings are saved in your browser's local storage only. They leave your device only if you create a transfer code yourself (see below); otherwise we cannot see them.
• iOS app — iCloud sync (only if you use iCloud): So you can continue on your iPad what you started on your iPhone, the app stores your progress (solved puzzles, days of solved daily puzzles, best times, the puzzle you are playing, remaining checks) in your own iCloud key-value storage. Apple holds this data under your Apple Account; we have no access to it. You can turn it off under Settings › [your name] › iCloud.
• iOS app — Game Center (only if you are signed in): Your times for the daily puzzle and expert puzzles and your achievements are sent to Apple Game Center, where they appear on leaderboards according to your Game Center settings. Apple processes this data; we see only what the leaderboards show.
• iOS app — purchases: In-app purchases are handled entirely by Apple. We receive no payment details and no personal data.
• iOS app — feedback: The “Send feedback” link opens your mail app with app version, iOS version, device model and language already filled in, so we can help without asking back. You can delete these lines before sending.
• Transfer code (only if you create one): To continue on another device or in Discord, you can create a code under Settings. Your progress (solved puzzles, streaks, the puzzle you are playing) is then stored on our server (Cloudflare, as our processor) until the code is redeemed — after that it is deleted immediately, and at the latest after 24 hours. Nothing else is stored with it: no name, no e-mail address, no device identifier. Legal basis is the function you requested (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
• Discord Activity (only if you play Puzelo inside Discord): Discord loads the game through its own proxy and processes connection data under Discord's privacy policy. Puzelo requests no Discord account data — no username, no user ID, no server, voice or message data — and stores nothing about you. Your progress is saved locally on your device, separately from puzelo.com. You can remove Puzelo from your account or a server at any time in Discord's settings (Authorized Apps, or Server Settings › Integrations).
• Hosting: Pages are served by Cloudflare Pages; Cloudflare processes technical connection data (such as your IP address) to deliver the site. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.
• Contact: If you e-mail us, we use your address solely to reply.
• Waiting list (only if you sign up): If you enter your e-mail address for the waiting list, we store that address to tell you when the app is released and, later, when a new game is out. Nothing else is stored with it. We use a confirmation link, so the address is only saved once you click it — without that click we keep nothing. Legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR); you can withdraw it at any time via the unsubscribe link in every e-mail, which takes effect immediately. The list is held by our e-mail provider Brevo (Sendinblue SAS, France) as a processor on our behalf. See Brevo's privacy policy.

Controller and contact: see the imprint. You have all rights granted by the GDPR. — Deutsch: Puzelo speichert nichts über Dich. Auf der Website liegen Fortschritt und Einstellungen ausschließlich lokal in Deinem Browser. In der iOS-App gleicht Puzelo den Fortschritt über Dein eigenes iCloud ab (nur wenn Du iCloud nutzt; wir haben keinen Zugriff), meldet Zeiten und Erfolge an Game Center (nur wenn Du angemeldet bist), und Käufe wickelt vollständig Apple ab. Spielst Du Puzelo als Activity in Discord, lädt Discord das Spiel über seinen eigenen Proxy (es gilt Discords Datenschutzerklärung); Puzelo fragt keinerlei Discord-Kontodaten ab und speichert nichts über Dich, der Fortschritt bleibt lokal auf Deinem Gerät. Erstellst Du in den Einstellungen einen Code zum Mitnehmen des Spielstands, liegt Dein Fortschritt (ohne Namen, Adresse oder Gerätekennung) auf unserem Server, bis der Code eingelöst ist — danach wird er sofort gelöscht, spätestens nach 24 Stunden. Nur wenn Du Dich in die Warteliste einträgst, speichern wir Deine E-Mail-Adresse, um Dir zum Start der App und später bei einem neuen Spiel zu schreiben. Grundlage ist Deine Einwilligung; Du kannst sie jederzeit über den Abmeldelink in jeder E-Mail widerrufen.
